[ao16aprs] Re: [amsat-bb] AO-16



Rick,

Thanks for confirming the reception of my signal via AO-16.
My signal was being transmitted from my vehicle using the
following setup:

1. 20W radio
2. 5/8w mobile antenna
3. MFJ-1270 TNC with $2 Manchester modification
4. GPS connected to TNC


It does not take much signal for the Pacsat's to hear you and
rebroadcast an APRS position report.  I will have my mobile
active on the air once again today and hopefully post the
modification I am using later this weekend.  ;-)
