If you have WINP640.EXE and you want to make a two floppy disk WinPack installation set from it, so you can pass it on to other people, then do as follows:- 1. Go into DOS. 2. Put a copy of WINP640.EXE in an *empty* temporary directory. 3. Change directory into the temporary directory. 4. Using PKUNZIP v2.04g or later, run the command - PKUNZIP -d WINP640.EXE !!!*** NOTE the -d ***!!! Also, note that this assumes PKUNZIP is on your DOS path. 5. Delete the copy of WINP640.EXE using the command - DEL WINP640.EXE 6. Delete this instruction file using the command - DEL FLOPPY.TXT (You don't want to put it on the floppies, because it isn't relevant.) 7. Put a blank, formatted 1.44Mb floppy in drive A: 8. Copy files to the floppy using the command - COPY *.* A: 9. Take the floppy out of drive A: This is disk 1 of the two disk installation set. 10. Put another, blank formatted floppy in drive A: 11. Copy the rest of the files to this floppy using the command - COPY $DISK2 A: 12. Take the floppy out of drive A: This is disk 2 of the two disk installation set. 13. Remove the temporary directory (if you so wish). The above procedure has been tested and it works if you follow my instructions. If you aren't familiar with DOS commands, or you don't have PKUNZIP v2.04g or later, then don't attempt to do it. (In other words, if you make a mess of it, don't blame me!)
