The 2100H PTT function is digital and uses no mechanical switch to ground an input of the mic connector. I have converted to the AD-147+ however, it does not connect RX audio to mic connector contact pin 6 as described in the manual. Has anyone been successful and/or have tricks to share? My Mic-e has in internal Garmin GSP-25 GPS engine that creates the noise. I am using Cat-5 cable between the Mic-e and radio. Do I need a combination of shielded cables? I have tried 8V radio mic power and external 13.8V. The noise will not clean up. Thanks for ANY help.
