http://vega.info.isbiel.ch/~ctr/dsplay.zip DSPlay 3.01 Introduction Digital Signal Processing is in some kind applied mathematics. Discussed only on paper, this dry stuff it is not so easy to understand for beginners. DSPlay 3.01 gives you the possibility to "play" with sequences, filters and transforms, to experience quickly, what happens if algorithms are applied to signals. And, if the result is not what you expected, to ask new questions and to learn more. Enjoy ! I developed DSPlay as an educational tool for my course "Digital Signal and Image Processing". There's no manual delivered with it; please consult the online help. There may still be some bugs in the program, but unfortunately, I don't have the time to supply any support (it's not my job!). However, I'll be happy to hear your opinion about the program and about the idea to distribute such programs as freeware. Please mail me what you are thinking about. Downloading DSPlay 3.01 Please consult the DSPlay general public license agreement. dsplay.zip: zipped version of DSPlay 3.01 (336 kBytes) DSPlay 3.01 Installation Notes Minimum System Requirements: * 386 processor or better * VGA video card 16 colors, 640x480 pixels * 4 MByte RAM * 1 MByte free disk space * Microsoft Windows 3.1 Installation Steps: 1. Create a directory on the drive where you like to install DSPlay, for example "C:\DSPLAY". 2. Copy the downloaded file "dsplay.zip" into this directory. 3. Unzip this file by "pkunzip dsplay.zip". 4. Check if the file "ctl3dv2.dll" exists in your "WINDOWS\SYSTEM" directory. If not, copy this file from the directory "C:\DSPLAY" into the "WINDOWS\SYSTEM" directory. If it still existed in your "WINDOWS\SYSTEM" directory, then delete it in the directory DSPLAY; if you let it there, DSPlay won't work properly. 5. Install "dsplay.exe" as new program item in the program manager. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Last change:3/2/96 Author: Roger Cattin Comments: E-mail
