Hi 

I am Danie zs6awk. I have compiled these files on a little interface
board that I have made for the DSP56002EVM board. I have used it with
success with most of the currently available 56002 ham
programs available on the net.

There is currently also some other hams in my area who is
building my PCB. I support ALEFNUL's idea of mimimalism, so
if there is anything that can be more simpler let me know !

The ZIP file called evmawk.zip contains a file called evmpcb.zip; 
this files has the HP laserjet print files of the PCB layout as well 
as the top silk screen.

The file evmicom2.zip contains the HP Laserjet print file of the 
EVM interface schematic. All zip files have been zipped with pkzip 2.04G.

To print these files type:  'copy file.prn lpt1' on a HPLaserjet 3 or 4.

SATELLITES

I have tested it with an IC275E and an IC820H for satellite
work. If you find anything wrong or have some suggestions

The LED colours I use are:

HB         green
Status     RED

PTT        amber
UP         yellow
CAT        yellow
DCD/DN     green

There is currently not really a standard but the DSP source 
code could easily be changed if a user is not happy with the
particular choice of colours :-) Choosing LED colours is a little
bit like deciding on names for variables in programs...it can sometimes
be a headache hi..
