FIRDES(ign) is a small Windows program by DF6JB, Ulrich Bangert, which can calculate the
coefficients of FIR filters. It permits an (almost) unlimited number of low-pass or high-pass
sections to be incorporated in the same filter and operates with all common window functions.
The coefficients can be output in MOTOROLA , TI or Matlab format. Operation of the
program is hoped to be largely self explantory however one point that may not be at first
obvious is that in the Plot window, of the filter frequency response one can set two  'markers'
with the left mouse button. These may be erased by using the 'repaint' button.

A tip for use: A band-pass filter with critical frequencies f1 and f2 is entered into the program
as a combination of a high-pass with the frequency, f1 and a low-pass with a frequency, f2.

This program first arrived here by packet Summer 96 and now Ulrich has sent me this
later version with Matlab support with his permission to upload it to TAPR.
It runs fine under Windows95 but I have not tried to run it under Windows 3.1X

I reckon that 'Abbruch' probably means Cancel in German : )
